You are probably thinking that mypersonalblog.com is much better and you would be right, but to get this, as already mentioned you will need to buy your own domain name (mypersonalblog.com) and then buy hosting from a web host company and then install WordPress in your hosting account before you can get your new blog up and running.

Fortunately setting up a self-hosted WordPress blog like this is not that difficult and for sure it is the best option to follow if you are even just a little bit serious about your blogging interest.
However if you just want a blog for some fun and to test out what it really is then wither of the free services will be fine.
